Bethany Mann is pursuing her undergraduate degree in trombone performance at the University of Minnesota Twin Cities. She plays in numerous ensembles at the University, including wind ensemble, jazz band, and trombone ensemble. Bethany engages in both educational and performance-based activities. She maintains a private studio in her home town, serving as teacher to numerous elementary school, middle school, and high school students. She has performed both in ensembles and as a soloist and was a finalist in the 2008 YPSCA School Music Auditions solo competition.

Bethany is grateful to both her teachers, John Tranter and Thomas Ashworth, and to all those who have inspired her musically.
